A charity quiz night at the clubhouse on Friday 1st December raised £289.50 for the Campaign Against Living Miserably, a charity that aims to prevent suicide amongst men.
Written and hosted by our Welfare Officer, Josh Towers to coincide with the end of Movember, about 30 players, committee members and partners took on rounds inspired originally by A Question of Sport, but eventually incorporating music, popular culture, general knowledge and even spot-the-ball.

Their message: it’s okay to not feel okay, a problem shared is a problem halved and – as a Football Club community – we are here for anyone who may be struggling.
The final total included very generous donations made directly to CALM by two committee members and the prize money that the winning team kindly put back into the pot. The Football Club donated bar profit from the evening as well
