The Sunday Adults team endured a difficult morning at Newlands Road as they were well beaten by a superb side. Despite the scoreline, however, the manager reserved praise for his goalkeeper without whom the score could easy have been “well into double figures”.
“It was not a great day for us – we came up against a side that, really, was a bit too good for this division and they swept us away. If it hadn’t have been for Kyle Scott in goal the scoreline could have been even worse but we pick ourselves up and go again for our County Cup fixture next week.”
