Footballers at Welford Victoria FC have once again stripped off for a ‘calendar girls’ inspired calendar to raise money for the charity PSC Support.
The “Hunks of Welford Victoria FC Charity Calendar 2022”, sponsored by local R&D tax consultants Myriad Associates, will not only help you organise and plan the year ahead but you’ll be delighted each month with photos (tastefully shot of course!) of Welford Victoria’s finest footballers, naked, in various alluring poses. Flaunting their honed physiques on the pitch, in the showers and at the bar, it’s a calendar that keeps on giving.
PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis) is a rare, progressive and incurable liver disease. People with PSC suffer from itching, fatigue, jaundice and abdominal pain which progressively gets worse over time. This debilitating illness makes day-to-day life incredibly hard for those that suffer from it and in some cases, it can lead to end-stage liver disease, liver failure or even cancer.
Currently, there is no cure, no treatment and no way to slow down the progression of this illness. So, PSC Support provides sufferers with the most up-to-date and accurate information about PSC. They have a panel of experts and patients that contribute their expertise, experience and knowledge to support people through their PSC journey. They organise fundraising events, they educate people, and they are trying to find ways to cure or treat this rare disease. But they can’t do it without help.
This is where Welford Victoria FC comes in. PSC is close to the hearts of the club because club photographer and WAG Joanna Foster suffers from it. So, what better way to help one of our own, PSC Support and other PSC sufferers than to go balls deep and strip off to raise money for PSC Support?
