At our recent committee meeting, club photographer Joanna Foster was confirmed as our new Vice Chair. Responsible for running the club when Chairperson Barrie Dowsett is absent (and for keeping him in check when he is not) she was previously one of two Digital PR and Marketing Officers and has been crucial to our recent fundraising efforts; most recently the Family Fun Day that raised £1,900 and most notably the 2022 Charity Calendar, which raised £1,100.
We are delighted to have Joanna step up into this role, and also pleased that she will continue as club photographer whenever she is able. One day, we hope she may even capture one of her husband’s goals for the Veterans on camera, although the longer she doesn’t, the funnier it becomes.
